Ashfall

Pads, drones and swells for heavy music.

The breakdown is coming and you need something under it. Ashfall builds the atmosphere, lands it on the drop and keeps it out of the kick's way.

The Ashfall synth
Built for the breakdown

It lands on the drop.
Every time.

  • Swells that hit the downbeat. SWELL builds over half a bar to eight bars at your session's tempo, so it peaks exactly where the drop lands.
  • A sub that's always in tune. Pick your tuning (12 of them, E standard down to drop A) and LOCK keeps the sub on its lowest string.
  • Room for the kick. DUCK follows your kick or guitars through the sidechain, so the pad breathes with the riff instead of burying it.
  • Shape it without menu diving. Six macros and the MORPH orb: drag up for brighter, right for more motion.
  • Pick sounds by ear, not by volume. 50 factory patches, every one level-matched to the same loudness. Save your own.

In the teaser: Ashfall under a full mix at 120 BPM, sub locked to the riff's low D, swell landing on the downbeat. Nothing else was added to the mix.

Mac: macOS 12+, Apple Silicon and Intel, AU and VST3. Windows: 10 and 11, 64-bit, VST3.
